There are days when I like to minimize the amount of grains I eat. I am convinced that my body needs a break, and also I find that eating too much grain causes my weight to creep up. A great alternative is eating seeds but I am not into all that crunching and chewing in the morning. So I have come up with a recipe that I like to prepare the night before. The extra time allows the seeds to soften and expand in the soy and almond milk. The first time I mixed a batch of this for myself I did not whip it up in the blender. Tasting that first spoonful I realized that this would be even better if it had a creamy consistency. I knew Marty would really enjoy this so next time I made two portions. I was right - this put a smile on his face! Great way to start the morning, dessert for breakfast and a happy husband!
