We first heard Dr. Fuhrman speak on our local PBS station, WEDU, and were impressed with his enthusiastic, intelligent manner. He was able to talk about complex scientific ideas and make it interesting, compelling and most important for us, easy to understand. Besides being a best-seller author he is a nutritional researcher. His program is based on extensive scientific research in the field of nutritional health. We appreciate that he does not rely on gimmicks and that he is not promoting a fad diet.
Before a meal we look at our servings of food awaiting us to partake in all the deliciousness. Besides being grateful for the good foods we can eat we are always impressed by the variety of colors and textures as well as all the incredible nutrients we are feeding our bodies. With Dr. Fuhrman's influence we eat a lot more plant based meals, and when we do eat any animal product it is at a minimum.
